Our leadership

Odilon Almeida Jr. is the Managing Principal of AJ. Holdings Co., where he partners with enterprises for value creation through board participation, private equity advisory, or direct investment. He works with public traded and privately held enterprises, as well as private equity portfolio companies.

Odilon Almeida is the former President, Chief Executive Officer, and Board Member of ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ:ACIW). Before joining ACI Worldwide, he served as an Operating Partner at Advent International.

Prior to that, Odilon held increasingly senior general management roles at Western Union (NYSE:WU). He was President of Western Union Global Money Transfer, where he led WU’s $5B consumer business in over 200 countries and territories, as well as its digital offering in over 90 countries. Previously, he served as President of the Americas and Europe, President of the Americas, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Latin America and the Caribbean, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of South America, and Regional Vice President of the Southern Cone, Americas. Before joining Western Union, Odilon was the Founder and CEO of the venture capital firm ADDventure Inc. and Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Digital Ventures at BankBoston International. Earlier, he held marketing and general management positions at Coca-Cola and Colgate-Palmolive.

A native of Brazil, Odilon is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. He earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) and his Bachelor of Civil Engineering in São Paulo, Brazil. He also studied at Harvard Business School, The Wharton School, and the International Institute of Management (IMD). He lives in Miami, Florida.
